Whether you are an avid camper, a once-a-summer camper or you have never slept in a tent; camping is a human need. Do you agree? Everyone surely has their matter of opinion, but my opinion is that it is a necessity to survive. I believe that nature is a healing place that can cure even the worst of sorrows. It is a place where you can walk across a river on a log, make a meal with only one flame, find a path even when there is no trail, have quality time with the stars, and rest your head in a place that’s wild and free. Camping is roughing it with nature, so sometimes having useful products can make a marvelous difference. I want to share with you five products that I have personally found to be pleasant to have during my camp time.
1.Freshware Collapsible Water Kettle/Tea Kettle.
This collapsible product is an excellent addition to your camp kitchen and doesn’t take up much storage at all. Due to limited room in my camper van, this is a must-use for my daily morning coffee. Ever since converting to an outdoors lifestyle, I said goodbye to my Mr. Coffee and committed to the drip. All I have to do is fill the kettle with water, light my flame, and wait for that water to boil. It makes up to 5 cups of water for coffee, just in case you want to share your coffee with friends. After you’ve finished, just collapse the tea kettle and set it aside in your camping tote.
2.Coleman Powerpack Propane Stove
Every one is different when it comes to their stove preference, and it depends on what your needs are. Some prefer alcohol stoves, camping oil, or propane/ single or double burner. There are many brands and choices out there; however, I set my sights on this stove. Why is that? Besides the propane efficiency, it is simple and adaptable to any size pan/pot. Whether you are cooking for one or you are cooking for ten people, this stove could work for you.
3.Winner Outfitters Double Hammock
Do you ever see those dreamy pictures of people enjoying a cocktail in a hammock? Well, that could be you in this hammock, and you can even have a friend with you. Capable of supporting 500 pounds of human weight, you won’t need to worry about those extra pieces of bread you have during dinner. This hammock has an easy setup process and is a must for all sorts of adventures besides camping. It’s extremely pleasant to just close your eyes, listen to the wind sift through the trees, and take a deep breath. Have you read their guarantee? That’s pretty amazing as well.
Guarantee: “If you don’t like your hammock, or whatever, we’ll instantly refund your money, and you can keep the hammock, no questions asked. It’s our promise, and we don’t lie.” -Quoted from Product Description
4.Astay Co. Hammock Bug Net
In nature, you automatically become best friends with all the bugs that inhabit the environment around you whether you want it to be this way or not. For me, I like to have a break from the bugs, so this hammock net inevitably came in handy when I was on my last camping trip. This product can fit any size hammock including a double. (I tested this product with the Outfitters Double Hammock listed above)
It comes with an attached carrying bag, 360-degree netting coverage, and a 23′ long ridgeline for flexibility hanging distances. The only downside to this product was that instructions were missing, so the setup process was not as quick as expected. Other than that, this netting is a great way to have a bug-free experience while being in the great outdoors. Once your trip is over then just tuck the net into the attached bag for easy packing.
5.Astray Co. Outdoor Picnic Blanket
If you could find a blanket that has more uses than you can count on your fingers, would you be stoked? After receiving this blanket, I sure am. This item is indeed a multi-use blanket and it a great product of quality at a reasonable price. It has built-in corners and loops for those days when it can get windy. It is waterproof as well, which is a great bonus. The uses of this blanket are endless from a tarp on top of your car to a temporary shelter tent. The fabric is a durable material that seems to be long lasting for many years to come. Lastly, it comes with a compact carrying case and put away for the blanket is relatively easy.
If you do try any of these products, please let me know how you liked them. Happy Camping.
